Abstract
Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) tags have high sensitivity, high stability and good multiplexing detection capabilities. In recent years, these tags have been widely used in the immunoassay research. This article will introduce the Raman effect, SERS, the basic preparation methods and structures of the SERS substrates and tags, and the immunoassays based on SERS tags. Finally, we review our previous research in SERS tags, the SERS detection platforms, and the application of our SERS tags to biosensing of pathogens and disease biomarkers.
